Punching
McAuley Engineering has invested the latest in punching technology,
in the form of a TRUMPF 2020RFMC, one of the latest machines in
Trumpfs range and currently the only one of its type in Northern
Ireland.
We currently supply punched components in aluminum, stainless
steel, mild steel, galvanised steel, plastic coated steel and copper
to various industrial sectors, to include transport, construction,
agricultural, electrical and electronic. Within all these sectors
our customers have benefited by cost reductions due to the high
productivity of this Trumpf machine. We have been able to offer
excellent flexibility and turn-around times due to the option of
being able to offer 24 hour automated processing on this machine.

Folding
Precision folding is carried out on Durmazalar 8 Axis CNC downstroke
press brake and a Bronx 2.5m upstroking press brake. High tolerances
are maintained and a wide range of tooling ensure even complex
folding can be achieved.

Welding
TIG and MIG welding provides a beneficial facility ensuring
the effective assembly and fabrication of punched, machined
and folded components. The latest equipment is used providing
excellent welding in mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel.
Plastic welding can also be undertaken in a wide range of materials.

Turning
Using a variety of conventional, combination and production
CNC machines, we can turn a wide range of products in size and
material. Nakumura and Colchester lathes are used in this facility.
Production runs, batch work and even one-offs are catered for
with the wide range of conventional and CNC machinery on offer.

Milling
From conventional milling machines with DROs fitted to
the latest in machining centres we can again undertake a wide
scope of work. The availability of computer aided design and
CAD/CAM packages assist in the ability to process the customers
initial ideas into solid parts.

ASSEMBLY
McAuley Engineering has reacted at its inception to demand
from industry to outsource assembly to provide a more fixed costing
structure for its products. Using a dedicated assembly shop with
piped compressed air and the latest air tools, combined with our
ability to produce jig and fixtures in-house, our customers benefit
from the cost savings we provide by either automating processes
or simply improving productivity.
