Quality Control Despatch Operator

Job Description

  • Using a computerised system for pick lists, receiving goods, booking out, and dispatch paperwork.
  • Handling goods in, checking order accuracy, and putting away in allocated areas.
  • Picking and packing goods for despatch.
  • Ensuring all goods leaving the warehouse have relevant documentation.
  • Perform visual inspections on powder coated goods and pass/reject in accordance with quality standards.
  • Package coated parts carefully using appropriate materials such as bubble wrap, foam and cardboard boxes.
  • Assemble packaged parts onto pallets ensuring correct item counts, part identifications and corresponding manifest.
  • Work closely with the production team to notify of repeat quality issues to support overall quality improvement.
  • Conducting periodic cycle counts and stock takes.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
  • Performing other duties as requested

This position is based at our Vow Road Powder Coating plant.  You will be required to work 38 hours a week Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm.

Rate of pay is £12.80 – £13.50 depending on experience.
