Job Description

The Role: We are seeking motivated individuals to support our team of fabricators in producing high-quality products for a diverse range of customers. Successful candidates will perform general engineering duties in a workshop environment, such as painting, drilling, and sanding, with opportunities for skills development.

Experience Required:

  • Assembly Operative experience
  • High attention to detail (e.g., measuring, cutting)
  • Metal work finishing (using grinders, etc.)

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Experience with hand tools, abrasive wheels, drills, etc.
  • Awareness of health, safety, and environmental concerns in a manufacturing setting
  • A mechanical mindset, including accurate use of measuring equipment
  • Good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to tackle a varied and physically demanding workload
  • Experience in material handling or working in a stores function (beneficial)
  • Competence in operating counterbalanced forklift trucks (advantageous)

Schedule:

  • Day shift: Monday to Thursday
  • Paid overtime on Friday
  • Potential evening/night shifts as required (no Sunday operations)
